Golden Tate is an eleven year veteran NFL player from Hendersonville, Tennessee and started his career at the University of Notre Dame where he excelled at both baseball and football. He was drafted in the 2nd round (60th overall) by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2010 NFL Draft. While playing for the Seahawks, Golden helped lead his team to a victory at Super Bowl XLVIII. He was also announced as Pro Bowler while playing for the Detroit Lions and is regarded as one of the league’s most sure-handed receivers –earning his nickname “Showtime” on the field. Off the field Golden is a father, husband, avid golfer and founder of non-profit the Golden Future Foundation where he has made it his mission to enhance the lives of American Heroes and their families. In addition to his non-profit work Golden is an investor with an entrepreneurial spirit. Golden was an early investor in startup NoSweat.
