Ryan Mundy, a native of Pittsburgh, PA, is an entrepreneur/investor and Founder of Alkeme, a lifestyle wellness brand for Black Millennials. Additionally, Ryan has operated as Managing Director of Techlete Ventures-a VC company investing in the areas of sports, health & lifestyle, and the future of work and as also Co-Founder of SWZLE (acquired Oct. 2020)–an eco friendly company with a mission to reduce single use plastic waste. Previously, Ryan played eight seasons in the National Football League (2008-2016) with the Pittsburgh Steelers, New York Giants, and Chicago Bears. In 2009, Ryan and the Pittsburgh Steelers won Super Bowl 43. Additionally, Ryan serves as Secretary for The Alzheimer’s Association National Board of Directors, an Athlete Advisory Board Member of NFLPA Players Investment Advisory Committee, Advisory Council member for the Illinois Growth & Innovation Fund, a state-run fund aiming to stimulate technology business growth in Illinois, Founding Member of LYFT City Works Advisory Council, and Founding Board Member of Chicago Blend. Ryan graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Liberal Arts, West Virginia University with a Master’s in Sport Management, and The University of Miami (FL) with an MBA in Business/Entrepreneurial Studies. Ryan resides in Chicago, IL with his wife and two young daughters.
